the Bogaerts

Hi, I’m Mike Bogaert. The Cover picture is me when I first came to Belize many years ago. My two boys and I live on our farm on the property that contains Barton Creek Cave, Mike’s Place jungle lodging, and Barton Creek Cafe. In addition to serving our guests, we are active in serving the local community. We provide internet services to the school in Seven Miles El Progresso Community, which has allowed the local young people to pursue their education while utilizing modern technology to keep pace with students in more developed areas.
